Stephen Pincock. Writer/science communicator.

I’ve been writing about science since the year Intel shipped its first Pentium chips. A lot of journalism, a few books, some consulting work with governments and other agencies. Science changes the world best when it engages with society.

These days, I’m lucky to work at Springer Nature, home of Nature and Scientific American, where I lead a business unit that helps researchers and research organisations communicate with the communities they care about, whether that’s other scientists or wider society.

I’m proud to be a member of the Science Journalists Association of Australia and the British Association of Science Writers. If you’re interested about how I got into this business, take a look at this interview.

On these pages, you’ll find links to some of my work, and where you can find me elsewhere.
